This armor is unique in that it is the first armor that you can purchase that features HP recovery. This is nice in that after every battle, you recover HP and MP (at the same rate) which helps cut down on the need for Healing or Recovery items.

The Armor of Parasite Eve II is different than the original Parasite Eve system in that defense no longer exists and instead Armor boosts your HP and MP along with giving you new abilities in some cases. In most cases, the armor determines what kind of character you will be going to be, whether more physically or magically based in terms of combat.

Regular Armor

These armors are the ones that are found throughout the game normally.

Leather Jacket

  • Hit Points: +10
  • Mitochondria Points: 0
  • Attachments: 3
  • Special Features: Resist Paralysis
  • Price: N/A
  • Location: Aya's default armor during Akropolis Tower scenario, replaced by Assault Suit afterwards

One of the two default armors. Unlike her second armor, the Assault Suit, this gives a HP bonus rather than MP, as well as 2 less attachment slots. It is very similar to Aya's outfit from Parasite Eve design-wise.

Assault Suit

  • Hit Points: 0
  • Mitochondria Points: +10
  • Attachments: 5
  • Special Features: Resist Poison
  • Price: N/A
  • Location: Aya's default armor during the Dryfield scenario

A replacement of the Leather Jacket, providing a +10 boost to MP rather than HP. This becomes Aya's "default" appearance for the rest of the game.

Turtle Vest

  • Hit Points: +5
  • Mitochondria Points: +20
  • Attachments: 3
  • Special Features: MP Recovery, Resist Poison
  • Price: 1680 BP
  • Location: Sold by Jodi at M.I.S.T. HQ / Sold by Marines in their Field Command (Pierce's route only)

The first accessible armor that gives a good chunk of bonus to MP, intended for players who prefer the use of PE. It also sports MP Recovery, enabling more use of PEs overtime, as well as immunity to poison in exchange for a lower number of attachexhment slots.

Combat Armor

  • Hit Points: +40
  • Mitochondria Points: +10
  • Attachments: 5
  • Special Features: Resist Silence, High-sensitivity motion detector
  • Price: 3250 BP
  • Location: Sold by Jodi at M.I.S.T. HQ / Sold in the Shelter Armory / Sold by Marines in their Field Command

This serves as one of the first main body armors but is terribly expensive when it is first accessible in the MIST HQ's shop. This armor is very versatile and will last a long while should one purchase it early on. Sporting a staggering HP and sizeable MP bonus, coupled with 5 attachment slots, the armor is jack of all trades. Immunity to silence ensures PE users to be combat ready at all times while motion detector negates the need for GPS, granting a valuable attachment slot for other neccessities. Similar in nature to the Tactical vest but is designed to be a PE reliant survival gear than the armament-heavy offensive Tactical Vest.

Coupled with poison immunity, great number of attachment slots and a sizeable HP bonus, the armor is quite versatile while having a good price to boot.

  • Special Features: Resist Poison, Resist Paralysis
  • Price: 3980 BP

This suit is the middle of the road model between the Combat Armor and the PsySuit that can be purchased in the Shelter. It has a balance between HP and MP bonuses and also has some nice resistances to some annoying status ailments.

  • Mitochondria Points: +50
  • Attachments: 4
  • Special Features: Enemy HP display, Resist Confusion
  • Price: 4580 BP
  • Location: Sold in the Shelter Armory

This armor is one of the major "mage" like armors and has a feature that allows you to see how much HP a target has. This can be useful because you can tell which ANMCs are damaged more than others. This can be useful but ultimately the MP bonus is much better.

Tactical Vest

Tacticalvestsmall
  • Hit Points: +50
  • Mitochondria Points: +10
  • Attachments: 7
  • Special Features: Quick Fire, HP Recovery
  • Price: N/A
  • Location: Found on a dead SWAT member in Akropolis Tower (taken away) / Found in Pierce's SUV after completing the Full Moon puzzle and returning to Dryfield

An excelent armor sporting a very high bonus to HP as well as a large number of attachment slots. It enables a small amount of HP regen after every battle, minimizing the number of healing items needed to get by. Many compares this armor to the Combat Armor due to their versatility, thought the Tactical Vest is much more inclined towards non-PE offensive playstyle compared to the Combat Armor.

This armor requires completion of the Full Moon puzzle in order to return to Dryfield.

EOD Suit

  • Mitochondria Points: 0
  • Attachments: 5
  • Special Features: Resist Impact, Resist Paralysis
  • Price: 4580 BP
  • Location: Sold by Douglas after returning to Dryfield

This armor features a massive amount of HP bonuses; doubling your base HP value. This allows you to take a lot of damage and Resist Impact can be useful. When combined with all Protein Capsules and Level 3 Antibody, Aya won't need to heal very much.

Aya Special

Ayaspecialsmall

  • Attachments: 7
  • Special Features: Quick Fire, MP Recovery
  • Price: 8000 BP
  • Location: Sold by Marines in their Field Command (ONLY sold when heading towards the good ending)

This armor features a good amount of both HP and MP boosts along with MP Recovery, which, naturally, improves the amount of MP you get after a battle. This makes it very useful for those who like to use PE.

Tactical Armor

  • Attachments: 8
  • Special Features: High-Sensitivity Motion Detector, Enemy HP Display

Special Armors

These are two armors that you won't be able to buy normally and can only be acquired after certain circumstances are met.

  • Mitochondria Points: 0
  • Attachments: 5
  • Special Features: Resist Impact, HP Recovery

This armor prevents you from getting the Good Ending because Flint has died. However it does feature good HP bonus, and allows you to regenerate HP after battle. Still the Tactical Vest is virtually identical, can be acquired only shortly thereafter and ultimately allows you to get the good ending.

Monk Robe

Monkrobesmall
  • Hit Points: 0
  • Mitochondria Points: +100
  • Attachments: 10
  • Special Features: MP Generation, MP Recovery
  • Price: 3000 BP
  • Location: Can be purchased in Replay Mode after getting an L Ranking

This armor features a massive MP boost and allows you to regenerate it outside of combat. In order to get it, you must not kill many of the game's enemies, as the L Ranking requires you to get less than 14,510 Experience points. It is an amazing suit of armor because it provides full attachments and the massive MP boost cannot be ignored.
