Ammo

Unlike it's sequel, Aya's ammunition is universal; most of her weapons can use regular bullets, barring a couple exceptions.

Meds

Useful in restoring health and status, these help to keep Aya alive. With the right armor add-ons, these items can be used automatically should aya be inflicted with damage and/or a status change.

Tools

Starting on Day 2, Aya is able to use tools to mod her weapons, moving abilities and bonuses over from one gun to another.

Special Items

These items carry a special purpose in the game, mostly to help advance the game's plot/storyline. Many of these the player will hold onto after they have been used, thus, they should be moved to storage at their earliest convenience, freeing up room for other items. When a game is completed, these items are removed completely from Aya's inventory, with the exception of the Chrysler Keys; these permanently remain.

Permits / Trading Cards

These allow Aya to modify her weapons and extra slots to them, increasing what abilities they are capable of handling. Torres only accepts Mod Permits, but Wayne will accept all forms of Trading Cards, including the rare ones found at the Chrysler Building; collect enough of them and you will receive some special rewards.

Junk

While it can take up a considerable amount of space, amassing and giving Wayne 300 pieces of it will result in him making Aya a specialized gun.
