With some flying creatures, the best place to be is under them, but not with these prehistoric reincarnations. The Pterodactyl has a flash attack which will cause darkness making it harder to hit it. Be sure to keep a fair distance so that the attack won't hit you. The Pterodactyl also has an attack in which it will shoot blue beams at Aya Brea very rapidly, the best way to dodge it is to run to the other side of it.
