The Skull Stalkers are failed Stalkers . They share the stalkers' ability to camouflage, and while they may come across as sharing same characteristics as the Blood Suckler enemy-type, their version of an explosion does absolutely no damage. The player can literally walk over them and cause them to die, much like the Bass enemy-type out of water.
